Norwich City v Sheffield Wednesday – Green Football “Great Save”

We will be supporting the Green Football “Great Save” initiative by running a “Pop-up” shop and collecting unwanted football shirts prior to the game against Sheffield Wednesday at Carrow Road on Tuesday 11th March.

Every year, an estimated 100,000 tonnes of sportswear ends up in UK landfills. The ” Great Save” initiative encourages football fans to reuse or repurpose their unwanted football shirts rather than throw them away and you can read more about their scheme HERE.

Our shop in the Forum, Norwich sells repurposed football kit and merchandise, mostly purchased from Norwich City  FC, to raise money for the Community Sports Foundation. We are also keen to receive donations of unwanted shirts from fans.

So, on the 11th March, we will have a bright yellow unwanted shirt collection box located in the club shop in Carrow Road.  We will also be selling a range of used training wear from players and staff from our pop-up shop adjacent to the South Stand entrance.

We would be most grateful for any donations of unwanted shirts that we can sell in our shop. If you can’t make the game, don’t worry as the shirt collection box will remain in the club shop for the remainder of the season.
